In 2004 WATT Electricals invested heavily to expanded its core competancies by opening an additional office to provide professional services in lighting design and calculation. Today WATT Electricals LLC offer a very professional service covering full Design Calculations; Lighting Simulation Calculations; Design Drawings and Contract Adminstration services.

For every project there are 3 phases of design as follows:

Phase I – Concept & Schematic Design

• Preparation of schematic Lighting design from initial briefings and conferences with the Client.
• Production of presentation materials to convey overall design intention.
• Preparation of illustrations, perspective images, and renderings.
• Formal presentation to Client including preparation of report.

Phase II – Design Development

• Design Conference as considered necessary by lighting designer.
• Develop the scheme in the form of presentation renderings with effect of lighting, lighting plans, and elevations.
• Preparation of preliminary lighting layouts.
• Preparation of preliminary sketch design details where applicable.
• To provide Iso-lux level graphs if required to key areas of the project.
• To provide preliminary lighting fixture schedule and specifications.
• To provide outline specifications including typical fitting details.

Phase III – Construction Documentation

• To provide lighting layouts in A1/A0 format indicating fixture type and location on background drawings in AutoCAD format. The architect and engineer for the preparation of the contract shall use these drawings.
• To provide a final fixture schedule with full broken down BOQ.
• To provide final specifications of all fixtures and accessories including mounting details.
• Lighting control specifications and schedules including electrical lighting load schedules, and performance specifications for control equipment.
• To provide design details where necessary for incorporation into architects details.
• To review all electrical and architectural documentation relating to our work for conformance in relation to design intent.
• To provide maintenance book and Co-ordination document for the lighting control system as well as on site training where required.
